Licensed Esthetician

Assuage Wellness Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, team player to join our team as a Licensed Esthetician.

This exciting new opportunity is based in Musquodoboit Harbour, NS at the newly launched Assuage Wellness Centre. This is a full-time position consisting of days, evenings, and weekends.

At Assuage Wellness you will work with top of the line products from the brands including Eminence Organics, Jane Iredale and Comfort Zone.

Job Overview

The Esthetician plays a key role on the Assuage Wellness team providing various services to clients in a professional and friendly manner in our new bright and modern wellness centre.

The Esthetician is responsible for greeting clients, assessing their individual needs, making recommendations on services and products, and completing the services in a timely manner.

Esthetic service that are offered to our clients at Assuage Wellness range from make-up applications, foot and hand treatments, waxing and skin care treatments. In this role you will ensure your treatment area is kept clean and tidy and that linens are laundered, and treatment rooms are sanitized and prepared for the next client.

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide services to clients such a nail services, facials, waxing, make-up applications and other skincare treatments

• Establish a connection with Clients to build a lasting relationship

• Make appropriate recommendations on products and services

• Promote a welcoming, respectful, friendly, and inclusive environment

• Ensure treatment areas are tidy and sanitized between clients.

• Maintain high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times

Skills and Qualifications

• Successful Completion of an Esthetician diploma and appropriate Licensing
•  Experience in a similar role would be considered an asset, but is not essential
• A genuinely friendly, helpful personality
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• A passion for your professional and a desire to be part of a collaborative team
